  1. One item should be pointed out that is not included in the SYSOP.DOC file.

  3. If you are running Saratoga on more than one Node, and some form of abnormal
  4. termination occurs (Hard Error, Lost Carrier etc) to the game, it is possible 
  5. (though unlikely) that the Node which terminated abnormally, will continue to 
  6. keep other nodes locked out with the:
  7.  
  8.                "SARATOGA RACEWAY IS ACTIVE ON ANOTHER NODE"   message.

  10. If this symptom ever occurs, simply go into the Saratoga directory and delete
  11. a file called: NETWORK.LOK, which is the file that keeps multiple Nodes from
  12. playing the game at the same time, thereby modifying game files at the same 
  13. time. Not a good situation.
  14.  
  15. This release level of Saratoga Raceway is DesqView and Multi-Node compatible.
  16. If there are any problems experienced with this game please notify the author 
  17. by one of many methods, as indicated in the SYSOP.DOC file..    Thanks
